Trauma-Informed, Compassionate Perinatal Education
Feel safe, supported, and confident as you prepare for birth with Diane, an experienced labour, birth, postpartum, and newborn RN.
Learn evidence-based skills and real-life strategies so you feel calm, prepared, and empowered for labour, postpartum, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

Supporting Families Through Pregnancy, Birth, and Beyond with Confidence, Compassion, and Care
At Born to Birth Prenatal, our classes go beyond information—we create a safe, supportive space where you feel respected, informed, and in control of your birth experience.
With Diane’s trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, you learn at your own pace while feeling seen, heard, and confident that everything aligns with the guidance from your doctor or midwife.
We walk through real-life labour scenarios and decision-making so you can discuss your options at your next prenatal visit and arrive at the hospital feeling calm, prepared, and empowered to make choices that are right for you and your baby.
Classes are offered in-person in Colwood (Lagoon Prenatal), View Royal (Maven Pelvic Health), or online.
Online students can also add Ask Your Nurse – Online Support: live Zoom sessions with Diane to answer questions, review birth plans, or talk through concerns.
We also provide breastfeeding and postpartum support, including 1:1 in-person guidance at VGH and in your home.
More than just lessons, these classes are supportive, flexible, and designed around your family’s unique needs.
You’ll learn how to:
-
Work with your body’s natural physiology
-
Reduce pain, stress, and fear with practical strategie
-
Explore hospital and home birth options
